A work of art. I purchased this one to once again expand my fretless tonal palette, this time to a darker" woodier" tone. The piezo bridge system, along with the Labella black nylon strings certainly achieve that. I only wish that the fingerboard was unlined, for my own personal, aesthetic reasons. This bass has a deep expressive tone, that responds extremely well to right hand techniques developing plenty of "Mwahh" The note envelopes actually blossom , if you play long tones.
